Description of the Tour

We will pick you up at your hotel in Mangua and drive around one hour and 15 minutes to Leon. Once at the entrance of Leche Cuajos (Leon), we will drive one more hour passing by rural Leon, where we can observe the way the campesinos live. Once we reach the bottom of the volcano, the adrenaline starts to pump as we see the black hill awaiting for us. The climb is not that hard, and once on top we will have a fantastic view of Los Maribios Volcanic chain. On a clear day, we can even see the pacific of Nicaragua.

The descent of Cerro Negro is quite unique as we will slide down on a customized boards, either sitting down or standing on the boards.
